This credential develops community leaders in peace and reconciliation with emphasis on developing active and empowered communities. This participant understands community planning, visioning and public participation. They understand the role of asset-based community development in achieving social justice, the Sustainable Development Goals, and UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. They can analyse conflict, its causes and effects, and developed mediation skills.
